of those who make noises at night

i just got my first mammal pets everrr and ZOMG i am just sooo obsessed!

i looked up for videos and articles about them for hours and i still am obsessed. 

now i kinda get the cliché things parents kinda have. macam 'oh anak aku laaa paling comel paling pandai dalam dunia mana ada orang ada anak gila talented macam anak akuuuuu'. in my case, my gerbils. or more like OUR gerbils.

shaz and i kinda wanted to get a couple of hamsters initially, but since germany ni gila strict benda2 pasal animals health, diorang tak bagi bela more than one hamster in a cage (sebab kuat bergaduh). and since we've already bought a big damn cage we then decided to buy the next best thing - Wüstenmaus (padahal masa beli tu tatau pon wüstenmaus adalah gerbil. mereka hanya kelihatan comel ketika saat pembelian. ikutkan hati masa tu anak arnab pon nak hangkut tapi arnab comel orang dah booked.)

aaaaaaaaanyhoooo. nasib baik beli gerbils. sebab gerbils sangat aktiv serta tidak begitu pemalas seperti hamster yang tahu tido sahaja. downside, they get extremely active at night korek2 gigit2 sana sini, shredding newspapers to make cozier nest sampai kadang2 bagi illusion yang ade orang tengah menaip keyboard di tengah malam. but i don't spend most nights with them anyways (they're not staying with me) so bleh, who the hell cares.

ok, see. i get obsessed and i havent even started yet.

took us a week to name them. this is homer.

eats a lot. suke melepak dalam mangkuk makan.

while others respond to a certain sound when being hand-fed, homer hanya mendengar suara kitorang burak2 near the cage, die dah keluar and ready to be hand-fed.

he's definitely living up to his name.

however, cepat pickup when trained.

left: barney. sempena barney 'wait-for-ittt' stinson. the smallest, most active. ok, aku pilih kasih dengan die sebab die comel serta warna grey. hensem ok.

right : willy. sempena willy the scotttish janitor/gardener dalam simpson. has no characteristics like that willy but lagi best sebut depade zoidberg. fearless, suka naik atas my palm =))

nigga. malas nak pikir nama lain. hello tak racist ok?

hitam dan sasa (however penakut dgn tangan).

suka shred newspaper bersama barney tengah malam.

kalau tidur mesti ade sekor tidur terkangkang kat bawah berselimutkan 3 membe.

ok. kalau comel macam ni, macam mana tak obsess??
